One-year anniversary of Late Sound Sultan’s death, family releases his album.
Today marks the one-year anniversary of the death of late musician Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan.
His family is releasing Reality CHQ, the last album he was working on, with a listening party in New York.
His brother, Baba Dee, stated in a video on Sound sultan’s Instagram page,
“We are commemorating the one-year anniversary of Sound Sultan, the iconic Nigerian singer, with an official listening party for his album, Reality CHQ.
Sound Sultan was working on this album before answering the call of the Almighty. This is a one-of-a-kind project.”

Sound Sultan died of throat cancer on July 11, 2021 in the United States and was buried.
