“You Passion For Youth Development Is Unrivaled,” Winners Of Mr. And Miss Abia College Extol/ Thank APP’s Gov. Candidate For Giving Them Scholarship
Organizers of the Mr. and Miss Abia College 2022 and winners of the pageant competition paid a courtesy visit to the governorship candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP) for the 2023 gubernatorial election in Abia state, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu, at his residence in Aba today.
The visit, according to Saint John Sunday, the CEO of Saint O.J Productions and main organizer of the Mr. and Miss Abia College 2022, was to thank Chief Mascot, who is the chief sponsor of the event, for his unalloyed support.
Speaking further, he extolled Chief Mascot for his unflinching passion for youths’ development in Abia state, describing him as the answer to the state’s prayers.
A delighted Chief Mascot, while receiving his guests, promised to do more for youth development and urged the organizers to improve on subsequent editions.
“With what I have seen, I am inspired to do more and I like the pageant project. This type of project is good for Aba and it projects the city with a good image. But I urge you to improve more.”
The Mr. and Miss Abia College is a pageant competition for secondary schools aimed at identifying, harnessing, and developing the modeling talents of teenagers. The 2022 edition had fifteen schools within the Aba metropolis and forty-five contestants in the competition. Next year’s edition will see the show expand beyond Aba to other parts of Abia state.
