Nigerian Afrobeat musical artiste, Martins Okechukwu Justice, popularly known by his stage name J Martins, has bagged a political appointment in his home state, Abia, as one of the Special Assistants to the government of Governor Alex Otti.
This appointment is to acknowledge J. Martins’s contributions to the entertainment industry, the state government said while enlisting him among the appointees recently appointed by the governor.
The ‘Good or Bad’ crooner would serve his home state in the capacity of the Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment, as indicated in his post.
He shared the news on his Instagram handle, expressing gratitude to his principal and the entire people of Abia who have found him worthy to serve.
Aware of the task before him, he asked for the prayers of all and sundry, trusting the Almighty to equip him with what it takes to deliver his new role to the people of his state.
“Greetings, Beautiful People. I got up this early morning at 3 a.m. with multiple calls and congratulations messages, only to be told that My prial, My Own governor, gave me an appointment on behalf of the good people Of Abia State.
“Kindly join me in appreciating His Excellency Dr. Alex Otti (OFR)). I will kindly ask for your continued support and prayers, trusting God for Wisdom to be able to deliver because no individual can do this work alone.”
J. Martins hails from the Ohafia town in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.
