The Senate has officially received the list of President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial nominees.
After a long wait by Nigerians, the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, presented the list before the Senate on Thursday.
Gbajabiamila, who is the immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives, presented the list to Senate President Godswill Akpabio at exactly 1:19 p.m.
The names of the 28 nominees on the list were thereafter read by Akpabio on the floor of the Senate.
Former governors of Rivers State; Nyesom Wike; Kaduna, Nasel El-Rufai; and Ebonyi, Dave Umahi, were notable names on the list.
