The Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has officially disengaged the services of civil servants employed in the state’s civil service by his predecessor, former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, from December 2022 until date.
In a circular sighted by MUK TV, dated August 31st, 2023, with the signature appendage of the Abia State Head of Service, the disengagement of the civil servants took immediate effect.
The governor’s directive was conveyed to the Deputy Governor, Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, and all Heads of Government Agencies, among others, for appropriate action.
