In the aftermath of the judgment delivered by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal yesterday, Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, said that the outcome of elections in Nigeria is determined by the most rugged individual or political entity.
Davido, in a series of tweets on his X page (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, commented on the Nigerian electoral processes.
He said, “Nigeria Election nah by who rugged pass.”
Meanwhile, in another post, the Aye crooner also called for unity in the political system, saying: “A divided house cannot stand… Everybody’s long throat.. well.”
It would be recalled that on Wednesday, the tribunal sitting in Abuja ruled in favor of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), dismissing the petitions brought against his electoral victory by the standard bearers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, respectively.
