The remains of late afrobeat singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has been exhumed for an autopsy amidst controversies surrounding his sudden demise.
MUK TV learned that his corpse was exhumed on Thursday morning by the police and taken to the hospital where an autopsy would commence immediately.
Mohbad, a former signee of the Marlian Record Label, passed away last week at the age of 27 and was hurriedly buried a day after his death, a situation that raised eyebrows amongst Nigerians.
While alive, the talented afrobeat singer had repeatedly cried out that his life was under serious threat after falling out with Naira Marley, the owner of the record label he was signed to.
Naira Marley and his record label have, therefore, been fingered over KPK crooner’s tragic death.
A widespread protest by Nigerian youths over Mohbad’s death had ensued, with activists, celebrities, and social media influencers calling on the Nigerian Police Force to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death with a view to catching out the culprits.
