Tragedy has struck Benue State as a resident pastor of the Dunamis Church died after the church’s building located at Mission Ward North Bank in Makurdi, the state capital, collapsed in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to reports, the pastor and some others were observing prayers in the church building when the ugly incident happened.
The three other people who were on the church premises were said to have escaped alive.
While the cause of the collapse has not been ascertained at the time of filing this report, residential buildings and electricity infrastructure around the church premises were affected by the collapse.
