Simeon Soludo, the father of Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo, has passed away at the age of 92.
The nonagenarian died in the early hours of Monday, and the news of his passage was confirmed in an official statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Christian Aburime, in a statement released to newsmen.
Governor Soludo expressed that his late father had “lived a fulfilled life and passed away at a ripe old age,” Mr. Aburime stated.
The statement also noted that the deceased is survived by seven sons, eight daughters-in-law, 22 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
