In the village of Madakiya, Kaduna, a harrowing incident took place as 20-year-old David Felix allegedly killed his father, citing a disturbing occurrence in his dreams.
The young man claimed his deceased father appeared as a bird with a human face, threatening harm.
A source, speaking to the Tribune on the condition of anonymity, revealed that Felix, upon interrogation by his community members, confessed to the act before being handed over to the authorities.
Reportedly, during police questioning, Felix admitted to his actions, stating he used a pestle to strike his father while he was asleep, prompted by fear from the haunting dreams.
Tragically, the assault resulted in his father’s death.
The police spokesman, ASP Mansir Hassan, conveyed that pending the conclusion of investigations, formal charges against the suspect would be processed in a competent court.
