Siminalayi Fubara, the Rivers State Governor, has delivered the 2024 Appropriation Bill estimated at N800 billion to only five members of the state House of Assembly on Wednesday.
This move occurred shortly after the commencement of the House of Assembly complex demolition, The Punch reports.
The absence of the remaining 27 lawmakers, who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress and are aligned with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, marked the sitting.
They remained notably absent during the budget presentation.
