The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced an increase in the registration fees for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
According to an official statement by JAMB, the updated fees are as follows: ₦7,700 for UTME registration, which includes a mock examination, and ₦6,200 for UTME registration without the mock exam.
Previously, the JAMB form cost ₦5,700 without a mock exam and ₦6,700 with a mock exam before the recent adjustment.
Foreign candidates applying for JAMB will now obtain application documents at $30.
JAMB is expected to provide a comprehensive breakdown of these fees when unveiling the registration details by January 15, 2024.
The board has also released information regarding the registration period for Direct Entry (DE) application documents for 2024.
2024 UTME/DE Registration Period Creation of Profiles for registration has commenced, with the sale of application documents starting on January 15, 2024.
For Direct Entry candidates, the sale of application documents will begin on February 28, 2024, and conclude on March 28, 2024.
The ongoing process of creating profile codes for registration is underway. Detailed guidelines on generating profile codes will be shared closer to the registration start date.
