Linus Dimas, a 43-year-old resident of Kugama Wuro Jibir in Mayo Belwa Local Government Area, Adamawa State, was apprehended by the state police command for a disturbing incident involving Yauba Usman, a staff member of Nasarawo Jereng Area Court.

Dimas, according to a report by Daily Trust, after allegedly refusing to accept a court summons served by Usman, escalated the situation by reportedly stabbing the court clerk multiple times with a knife, resulting in severe injuries.
State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sulaiman Nguroje, disclosed this in a press statement on Tuesday, highlighting the tragic turn of events following Dimas’s refusal of the court summons.
Commissioner of Police Afolabi Babata has ordered a thorough investigation into the case to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the fatal attack.
