The All Progressives Congress (APC) has revealed the timetable for the upcoming February 3rd, 2024 Bye-Elections, aligning with the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) announcement for National and State Assembly bye-elections.
Shared via the party’s X account on Monday, the timetable, authorized by APC National Organising Secretary Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, outlines crucial dates and activities.
Commencing from Wednesday, December 27th to January 2nd, 2023, the sale of nominations, expressions of Interest, and delegate forms will kick off.
Interested parties must submit completed expressions of interest, nomination forms, and accompanying documents by Wednesday, January 3, 2024, marking the final submission day.
Primary elections are scheduled for Saturday, January 6, 2024, leading up to the main election day on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
The statement detailed the pricing for Expression of Interest and Nomination forms, revealing costs of N20m, N10m, and N2m for the Senate, House of Representatives, and House of Assembly, respectively.
Additionally, the statement highlighted exceptions, stating, “Female aspirants and Persons Living with Disabilities are to purchase the Expression of Interest Form while the Nomination Form is Free.”
