Mascot Uzor Kalu, the 2023 governorship candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP) in Abia State and now a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has rallied Nigerians to embody the essence of hope, especially towards the downtrodden, in a touching Christmas message.
In a heartfelt statement shared with the media, Kalu, renowned for his philanthropy while echoing the essence of the festive season, said, “Let us be the beacon of hope for those in need, particularly those who have lost all hope.”
Acknowledging the significance of the birth of Christ, the former Abia Chief of Staff highlighted how it symbolizes the restoration of hope in humanity.
“The birth of Christ signifies the renewal of lost hopes for mankind,” he articulated.

In alignment with his message, Kalu drew upon a biblical verse, stating, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
