Initially, ‘Mummy Zee’ shared her story on X, expressing, “I’ve always been too lazy to wake up and get his lunch ready. But the day he told me a colleague brought two spoons so he’ll eat with her, was the day I set my alarm for 4:50am.”
Her tweet stirred diverse reactions among users, with some questioning the necessity of such early cooking, while others praised her dedication as a wife.
Overwhelmed by the response, ‘Mummy Zee’ amassed over N2 million in donations from compassionate individuals on social media.
In the wake of the tweet’s virality, NNPC, among the numerous contributors, offered her a redeemable voucher worth N200,000 to be utilized at any of their 900+ retail stations nationwide.
