Renowned Nigerian catholic priest, Rev Fr Chinenye Oluoma, has challenged conventional beliefs, suggesting that car manufacturers demonstrate God’s power and glory more profoundly than religious ministers who speak in tongues.
In a thought-provoking post on his verified Facebook page, Fr Oluoma questioned the perceived hierarchy of power, arguing that it is irrational to consider a minister who prays for job seekers more potent than the one who creates the jobs themselves.
According to him, an individual’s true glory lies in their capacity to create, not merely consume.
“The man that manufactures cars has, and displays God’s power and glory more than your tongue speaking minister who will still collect your money to go buy that car. It is a senseless person who sees a man who prays for a jobless person and he gets a job as more powerful than the one who created the job itself or built the business that employs many.
“Your glory is testified by what you create, not what you consume. What have you created with all these anointing, tongue speaking and boasting about carrying God’s power and glory?
“Once more, understand what the anointing and the anointed are for, stop elevating your ignorance and confusion to piety and spirituality,” the Catholic Priest said.
