Hon. Ginger Obinna Onwusibe, the Member representing Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, has spearheaded a compelling debate in favor of establishing a Federal Medical Center in Isiala Ngwa.
During the presentation of the bill, Hon. Onwusibe underscored the urgent need for a medical facility in Isiala Ngwa to cater to the substantial population of the region and its neighboring communities.
He highlighted the current challenges faced by residents who have to travel long distances to access quality healthcare at the only Federal Medical Center in the state.
Citing the alarming increase in preventable deaths due to the lack of a local medical center, Hon. Onwusibe urged fellow lawmakers to throw their support behind the bill.
He stressed that investing in a Federal Medical Center in Isiala Ngwa would not only strengthen the healthcare system but also enhance the well-being of citizens.
