Australian model Bianca Censori is facing the risk of imprisonment or a hefty fine of €15,000 after flaunting near-nudity during a public outing with her husband, Kanye West, in the streets of Paris, France.
Censori made headlines when she ditched her bra and donned only sheer tights during a shopping spree with West on Tuesday.
Shocking photographs captured by paparazzi revealed the 29-year-old architect exposing her groin and bare buttocks.
Reports from the Mirror suggest that Censori, sporting a cropped fur coat sans shirt or bra, returned to the Ritz Hotel with her husband after enjoying a visit to Fendi.
However, the couple appeared oblivious to France’s decency laws, as outlined in Article 222-32 of the penal code.
This legislation, dating back to March 1994, stipulates that deliberate sexual display in public spaces can lead to a one-year prison sentence and a fine of €15,000.
Although nudity itself is not deemed indecent, the law specifies that such acts must not occur in places accessible to public view.
Despite this, individuals engaging in naturism within designated areas are exempt from prosecution.
This is not the first brush with the law for Bianca Censori as she risked a €10,000 fine or imprisonment for strolling “virtually naked” in Italy last year.
