In a dramatic crackdown on lawlessness, authorities have apprehended no fewer than 15 suspects linked to the brazen looting of a warehouse in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Following MUK TV’s report detailing the audacious invasion of a warehouse suspectedly belonging to NEMA in Karimo, Abuja, on Sunday, where hoodlums ransacked the premises and absconded with vital supplies, law enforcement sprung into action.
In an official statement issued by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, it was revealed that diligent operatives of the command swiftly rounded up several perpetrators and successfully recovered stolen items.
Among the confiscated loot were twenty-six bags of maize, five motorcycles, and assorted vandalized aluminum roofings, offering a glimpse into the extent of the plunder.
Reassuring the public, Adeh affirmed, “The Command wishes to state that normalcy has since been restored to the environ and the situation is very much under control, as fifteen (15) suspects were arrested, including two local security guards employed by the warehouse management.”
