Former Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign Council spokesman, Daniel Bwala, has made a bold claim, asserting that President Bola Tinubu could rescue the recently abducted schoolchildren in Kaduna State within a mere 15 days.
Speaking on Arise Television, Bwala emphasized that Tinubu should swiftly direct the service chiefs to execute the rescue operation or face the consequences of dismissal.
“Mr. President can get these children back within 15 days,” he affirmed, “he should instruct the service chiefs to ensure they are rescued in 15 days or he relieves them of their duties.”
The grim situation happened when terrorists kidnapped 280 students and staff of a school in Kuriga, Kaduna State, during regular school hours last Thursday, demanding a staggering N1 billion naira as ransom.
Adding to the distress, terrorists also abducted 16 students from a Qur’anic school in Sokoto State, demanding N20 million as ransom.
With such dire circumstances, the call for immediate action and accountability resonates more urgently than ever.
