Abdulazeez Ganduje, the eldest son of the suspended national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, paid a solidarity visit to Muhyi Rimingado, the chairman of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, at his office.
During the visit on Wednesday evening, Abdulazeez conveyed his support for Rimingado’s anti-corruption initiatives and endorsed the charges filed against his family members by the commission.
Expressing his concerns, Abdulazeez discussed his abrupt removal as a director of a company implicated in ongoing trials, expressing his dismay over the decision made without his consent.
In September 2021, Abdulazeez filed a petition with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against his mother, Hafsat Ganduje, alleging corruption and detailing his involvement in a land acquisition deal in Kano.
The Kano anti-corruption commission had previously taken legal action against Abdulazeez’s father, mother, brother, and others on charges related to corruption, misappropriation, and fund diversion, involving significant sums of money.
