Ghanaian activist, Abubakar Tahiru, has achieved global recognition by setting a remarkable world record– embracing a staggering total of 1,123 trees, as confirmed by the Guinness World Records on Friday.
The groundbreaking achievement was announced by Guinness World Records across its social media handles, showcasing Tahiru in action, physically embracing the trees.
Born and raised in a farming community in Tepa, Ghana, Tahiru’s deep-rooted passion for nature and conservation fueled his extraordinary endeavor.
Reflecting on his feat, Tahiru said the hardest part of the record attempt was having to move quickly between trees while ensuring that each hug met the required standards
