Popular Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has stirred controversy with her recent social media outburst concerning her colleague Zubby Michael and the tragic passing of Junior Pope.
Junior Pope, along with four other actors, tragically lost their lives when their boat capsized in the Anam River in Anambra State on April 10, following a film shoot.
With only seven survivors out of the 12 passengers, the devastating accident claimed the lives of Junior Pope and four others.
In response to the announcement of Junior Pope’s funeral arrangements by his brother, Angela Okorie took to social media to express supernatural concerns regarding certain guests intending to attend the burial.
Claiming divine revelation, Okorie warned of nefarious intentions by some attendees to collect soil from Junior Pope’s grave, allegedly to bind his spirit.
Advocating for vigilance, she urged the sealing of the grave during the burial ceremony and restricted access solely to immediate family members.
In her words: “The lord revealed that some people going to Junior Pop’s burial are planning to pack sands from his grave to chain his spirit…Rest in power Bro.”
Expressing grief over the loss, Okorie emphasized Junior Pope’s lasting impact and lamented the surreal reality of his passing.
