Former Minister of Communication, Adebayo Shittu, slammed the Buhari administration, accusing it of rampant manipulations and fraudulent approvals.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, Shittu asserted that individuals close to Buhari exploited their ties to drive the economy into decline, claiming, “Many approvals did not emanate from President Buhari.”
Responding to allegations of money printing, Vanguard quoted Shittu as saying, “There were a lot of manipulations and fraudulent approvals which did not emanate from the President,” alleging complicity between insiders and the former CBN governor.
He urged the EFCC to thoroughly investigate, saying, “I hope the EFCC will probe properly as to how these things happen without the President knowing.”
