Blessing Agbebaku, the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, has unveiled shocking revelations regarding the suspended lawmakers’ involvement in occult practices aimed at disrupting legislative proceedings.
The speaker, during a plenary session, disclosed the suspension of Donald Okogbe, Bright Iyamu, and Adeh Isibor, accusing them of attempting to subvert the House’s leadership through diabolical means.
Agbebaku alleged that the suspended lawmakers collaborated with a spiritualist, clandestinely entering the Assembly complex to deposit fetish items under the cover of darkness.
The speaker further asserted that surveillance footage from Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras exposed the illicit activities of the spiritualist and the lawmakers, revealing their sinister intentions.
He stated, “They brought a herbalist into this house of assembly premises to plant some charms in the compound by 1 am in the morning without knowing that the CCTV cameras will expose their nocturnal act.”
The gravity of these accusations underscores the urgency for transparency and accountability within the legislative body, as efforts to uphold the integrity of democratic processes continue amidst these alarming revelations.
