(NELFUND) has announced receiving over 60,000 applications from students of federal government institutions since launching its student loan application portal.
Despite the high volume of applications, NELFUND revealed that it has successfully processed 30,000 of them, Vanguard reported.
The agency also reported that 90 percent of federal universities have submitted their students’ data to its dashboard, while 10 percent of federal institutions have yet to comply.
NELFUND further announced that its portal for state-owned tertiary education institutions to submit student data will open in three weeks.
To facilitate this process, NELFUND is urging state institutions to begin submitting their students’ data for processing.
