Two soldiers from Abia State were killed by unknown gunmen at Obikabia Junction, Ogbor Hill, in a tragic incident that happened in Aba yesterday.
Staff Sergeant Charles Ugochukwu, a 30-year veteran from Ugwunagbo, and Corporal Ikpeama Ikechukwu, who served for 11 years and is from Obingwa, lost their lives in the attack, reports Promise Uzoma Okoro, the Chairman of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), Abia State Chapter.
According to reports gathered by MUK TV, the assailants who were enforcing the sit-at-home order declared in remembrance of Biafran Heroes, arrived in two flashy cars, carrying out the ambush in broad daylight.
