Former Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has extended his sympathy to President Bola Tinubu after the President stumbled at the Eagles Square during the 2024 Democracy Day celebration.
On Wednesday, Tinubu encountered an embarrassing slip at the Eagles Square while boarding the parade vehicle.
However, he quickly regained his balance and proceeded with the proceedings without further incident.
Reacting to the incident, Atiku expressed his empathy, hoping for the President’s well-being.
Taking to X, he wrote, “I sincerely sympathise with President Bola Tinubu, @officialABAT, over this unfortunate incident as he was set to review the parade on Democracy Day. I do hope that all is well with him. -AA.”
