Nigeria President Tinubu Condemns The Assassination Attack On Trump
Nigerian President Bola Tinubu condemned the recent assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump, stating that violence has no place in democracy
He described the attack as “distasteful” and extended his sympathies to Trump, wishing him a speedy recovery.
Tinubu also offered condolences to the families of the deceased and injured, and affirmed Nigeria’s solidarity with the United States.
His comments came after a 20-year-old suspect attempted to shoot Trump at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, narrowly missing him, and was subsequently k!lled by Secret Service agents.
