Security operatives dispersed protesters on Monday in the Karu area of the Federal Capital Territory, arresting three individuals.
The protest had barely begun when security agents intervened, deploying tear gas and making arrests.
“Our people were just coming out and the police and other security agents started tear-gassing us and arrested some of our people, we know of three for now,” said Yahaya Abdullahi, one of the protesters, told The Punch in an interview .
