Ahmed Ali Ahmed, the Commissioner for Finance in Borno State, was found dead in his room on Monday morning.
Though the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, sources close to the situation revealed that the commissioner was discovered after failing to emerge at his usual time.
Concerned individuals forced open his door, where they found his lifeless body.
“Oga is no more, he died early this morning,” a source disclosed to Daily Trust.
This tragic event marks the second loss of a cabinet member for Governor Babagana Zulum within a year.
