Controversial artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable Zazu, recently had a confrontation with a Christian outreach group.
As circulated on social media, a live video surfaced showing Portable, who had just signed a new deal with Barber Chair, expressing his frustration with the evangelists, sparking discussion online.
Portable stated that a group he identified as ‘Jehovah’s Witnesses‘ gathered around his bar and restaurant in Ogun state, which he considers his second home. They delivered sermons that made him uncomfortable.
He mentioned that the group criticized his lifestyle, calling him the ‘prodigal son‘ due to his extravagant spending.
According to Portable, the evangelists encouraged him to abandon his bad habits and turn to God.
Claiming to have good relationships with pastors, Muslim leaders, and traditional figures, Portable said he instructed his crew to chase the group away.
