A Nigerian woman residing in Ontario, Canada, has caused frenzies on social media after appearing in a viral TikTok video where she advocates for the mass poisoning of South-Westerners, including the people of Benin, Edo State’s capital.

In the disturbing video, the woman openly vowed to start poisoning the food and water of Yoruba and Benin people at her workplace. She urged people from Nigeria’s South-East region, who are predominantly Igbos, to adopt a similar approach by poisoning Yorubas of the South-West and Benins of the South-South wherever they encounter them.

Speaking in Pidgin English, the woman, believed to be of Igbo origin, declared, “Record me very very well. It is time to start poisoning the Yorubas and the Benins. Put poison in all your foods at work. Put poison in all your water so that you all will start dying one-by-one.”

She continued with chilling details, saying, “You people will not die one day. You people will fall sick for a long time. I will put Otapiapia (rat poison) inside your waters and foods. You people will never get well.”

Her disturbing rhetoric escalated as she added, “This kind of hatred I have for you people will last forever. In all your foods, I will put Otapiapia,” while others in the live session mentioned other lethal substances like “Eat and Die” and “Sniper.”

The woman further stated her intentions, saying, “I will put them in all your foods. If I go to work tomorrow, I will put it (poison) in Yoruba people’s food. Go and tell the government that I’m in Canada, I’m in Ontario. Hurry up, go fast.”

She continued with her threats, claiming, “I will put Otapiapia, I will put Ogbomosho inside your foods. You will start hearing that Yorubas have died, Benins have died. I’m the one saying it.”

In a final alarming message, she called on Igbos to adopt a “heart of wickedness,” criticizing them for being “too quiet” and “too cool.” She urged them to act against those she considers “foolish” and “of no use to society,” even referring to them as “prostitutes and everything.”
