Fans of award-winning music video producer ThankGod Omori, popularly known as TG Omori, can breathe a sigh of relief after he announced on Friday that he is recovering from the stitches of a failed kidney transplant.
MUK TV earlier reported that fans were shocked when Omori disclosed on Tuesday, August 27, that he was battling kidney failure– a condition he reportedly developed after consuming a counterfeit alcoholic drink at a Lagos club.
In a heartfelt update, Omori expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support, saying, “Up and grateful, O Lord. (Sadly, I can’t backflip.) Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes.”
He also shared his determination to keep fighting and recover fully.
“I’m healing now from the stitches of the failed one, I’ll continue the fight. I’ve been on it for the past year or two, and I can’t back down now.”
TG Omori also expressed his excitement about returning to work, promising to create new and vibrant music videos for his fans.
“Love you all so much. Can’t wait to create new, crowded music videos for you all,” he wrote on his X account.
