Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently ahead in the Edo 2024 gubernatorial race, securing 19,380 votes from 16 local government areas.
His closest rival, Asue Ighodalo of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), follows with 14,189 votes.
The collation process has been temporarily adjourned until 5 p.m. as results from Oredo and Ikpoba Okha Local Government Areas are yet to be submitted to the state collation center.
