Justice Ayokunle Faji of the Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the remand of four bloggers—Precious Eze (38), Olawale Rotimi (47), Rowland Olonishu, and Seun Odunlami—at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre.
They were accused of cyberstalking and spreading false information aimed at insulting Segun Agbaje, the Chief Executive Officer of Guaranty Trust Holding Company PLC (GTCO).
The bloggers were arraigned on an amended two-count charge brought by officers from the Police Special Fraud Unit, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The charges relate to their alleged actions involving the dissemination of false information and cyberstalking, in violation of Nigerian laws.
