An explosion rocked the NIPCO filling station in Aduwawa, Edo State, after a car powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) exploded while being refuelled.
A video obtained by SaharaReporters captured the aftermath of the blast, revealing widespread panic and damage at the scene.
Eyewitnesses described a chaotic atmosphere, with bystanders rushing to help those injured in the explosion. Several individuals were reported to have sustained injuries and were quickly transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
At the time of reporting, there has been no official confirmation of any fatalities, but the explosion also caused significant damage to multiple vehicles waiting in line for refuelling.
