Nigerian TikTok sensation Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, has caused controversy with his surprising job criteria for a personal assistant (PA).

The 19-year-old uneducated comedian, famous for his humorous skits, recently announced that he’s seeking a first-class graduate with straight A’s to fill the role.

In a video posted to his social media, Peller invited candidates with impressive academic records to apply, stressing that he’s willing to pay generously for the right person.

“I want to make a public announcement, God help me to do it. I need a PA, so I need a person who has straight A’s since they were born. I need an educated person, please. If you can, send me your certificate. If your bank job does not work out, you will enjoy working here,” he stated.

The announcement has fueled a range of reactions online. While some questioned if he was being serious, others speculated that Peller might be satirizing the traditional notion that academic success always translates to financial stability.

Many have noted the irony of Peller’s demand, given that his own success stems from social media fame rather than academic achievements.

The bold declaration has reignited a wider debate about the value of formal education in Nigeria versus success through non-traditional avenues like social media.

Whether his announcement is a genuine search or simply a clever social commentary, Peller has certainly captured public attention and re thought-provoking conversations about education and success.
