President Bola Tinubu’s daughter and Iyaloja-General, Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, has been appointed Ambassador for the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education.
Muhammad Sani Idris, Executive Secretary of the Commission, announced the appointment, citing Tinubu-Ojo’s passion for supporting disadvantaged communities.
Tinubu-Ojo’s dedication to promoting trade, commerce, and advocating for market women’s resources and opportunities were also recognized.
“I am deeply honored by this appointment and committed to alleviating the plight of these vulnerable Nigerians,” Tinubu-Ojo said.
She highlighted her father’s commitment to education, calling it “a lasting legacy for Nigerian children.”
Tinubu-Ojo also commended Idris, wishing him success in addressing the challenges faced by Almajiri and out-of-school children, promoting education as a key to their development.
