In a fight that captured global attention, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul defeated boxing legend Mike Tyson by unanimous decision on Saturday, November 16, at AT&T Stadium.

The highly anticipated bout was originally scheduled for July but was postponed to November after Tyson, 58, was deemed medically unfit to compete.

The event, headlining a blockbuster Netflix special, marked Tyson’s return to the ring after more than two decades, pitting him against the 27-year-old Paul in a thrilling cross-generational showdown.

Tyson took an early lead, using his vast experience to dominate the first two rounds. Paul, however, mounted a remarkable comeback, shifting the fight’s momentum by the third round with a series of well-placed triple jabs that narrowed Tyson’s lead. The unofficial scorecard showed Paul pulling ahead by the fourth round, with a score of 78-74.

As fatigue set in for Tyson, Paul’s strategy took center stage. By the fifth round, Paul leveraged his energy and agility, landing precise body shots and combinations that allowed him to seize control. Tyson’s early lead eroded, and Paul extended his advantage, eventually securing a decisive win with a score of 58-56.

The victory stands as Paul’s most significant achievement in professional boxing, cementing his status as a formidable contender while symbolizing a shift in boxing’s landscape from an era-defining champion to a new generation of fighters.
