Ex-Dunamis Pastor Accuses Church of Fake Miracles; Police Release Both Him and Alex Enenche After Detention.
In a shocking revelation, Abraham Daniel, a former pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), has accused the church’s leadership, particularly Senior Pastor Paul Enenche, of orchestrating fraudulent miracles during its healing and deliverance services.
In an exclusive interview with Kaa Truths, Daniel expressed deep frustration with the church’s practices, alleging that the miracles performed by Pastor Enenche were not genuine.
Daniel’s discontent was rooted in what he described as the church’s flawed approach to healing and deliverance. He explained that after each healing service, there were always more people seeking healing than those who initially attended. This, according to Daniel, created a sense of desperation among congregants, who were left with unaddressed health issues.
Daniel likened the environment at these services to a chaotic atmosphere, where individuals acted out of pressure and desperation, much like a stadium crowd reacting to the presence of a dangerous animal. “It’s like hearing there’s a lion nearby; even a crippled person might jump over the fence,” he remarked, explaining how emotional manipulation and a charged environment during services affected people’s behaviors.
According to him, the emotional influence of the large crowds and the atmospheric pressure made people act in ways they normally wouldn’t. He added that despite the seemingly miraculous events taking place during services, the reality after the event was one of frustration for both members and pastors. “When you’re on the stage, it’s different from reality. The lights go off, and that’s when the real challenge begins,” Daniel shared.
In a separate development, Daniel and Alex Enenche, the younger brother of Pastor Paul Enenche, were recently detained by the Force Intelligence Department of the Nigerian Police for alleged cyberbullying and criminal defamation against Pastor Paul Enenche. The two were arrested on January 7, 2025, and later released the following day after an agreement was reached to resolve the matter amicably.
According to SaharaReporters, Daniel and Alex Enenche were summoned to the police department after accusations were made against them by the Enenche family, following a public dispute regarding a gentleman’s agreement. While detained, their legal representative, Barrister Ernest Okpaga, claimed that no clear reason was given for their detention despite their full cooperation.
The two individuals have been instructed to report back to the Force Intelligence Department on January 10 and January 13, 2025, respectively, as part of ongoing investigations into the accusations.
