Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has responded to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent executive order, which recognizes only two genders—male and female.
The directive, signed on Trump’s first day back in office, is to formalize the recognition of just two genders across all U.S. government policies.
During his inaugural address, the president confirmed this decision, declaring, “As of today, it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female.”
In reaction to the announcement, Bobrisky dismissed concerns over the policy, asserting confidence in her identity as a woman. On Instagram, she wrote, “I don’t have business with Trump. Trump said we have only two genders, right? And I said I am now a woman that has undergone everything. If they ask for evidence, I will show them, simple.”
