Former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, made a dramatic entry into the assembly complex on Thursday, accompanied by security personnel.
Obasa reportedly arrived around noon and proceeded to the Speaker’s Office, following the withdrawal of security aides assigned to the current Speaker, Mojisola Meranda.
Confirming the incident, Meranda’s Chief Press Secretary, Segun Ajiboye, accused Obasa and his team of forcefully breaking into the office.
“We’re at the assembly now,” a source from Obasa’s camp told Punchonline.
