Ozonna Soludo, son of Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo, has addressed concerns regarding his life choices, particularly his pursuit of a music career. Despite initial resistance from his parents, Ozonna remained steadfast in his decision to follow his passion. He revealed, “At first, I was met with resistance but I think my parents understand that I’m quite an unwavering spirit and quite frankly I was going to do it anyway.” Eventually, his parents accepted his choice, and he noted, “But yes, I (now) have their blessing.” He emphasized, “At the end of the day, it’s my life and I’m a very passionate person with very strong ideas about what I want for myself.”

To support his musical ambitions, Ozonna has undertaken various jobs to fund his projects. He shared, “I know I’ve been taking a lot of breaks from socials lately but it’s only cuz I’ve been working like crazy, taking on extra hours, even taking on some odd jobs so I can properly invest into my music.” He reassured his supporters, “It may be a slower process but trust & believe it’s going to get done.”

Addressing critics of his music, Ozonna expressed that he does not seek approval or advice regarding his artistic choices. He stated, “I want to make it clear to anyone who needs to hear this—I don’t care about your opinions.” He further highlighted, “The essence of being an artist is to provide people with a fresh outlook. I’m meant to be distinct. That’s the essence.”
