Renowned Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, is reportedly undergoing rehabilitation alongside his new partner, Natasha Osawaru, following an alleged drug-related incident.
The sensational claim was made by Instagram gossip blogger, Cutie Juls, who alleged that Natasha’s mother discovered the couple under the influence of hard drugs and subsequently facilitated their arrest and rehabilitation.
According to the controversial post, both 2Baba and Natasha were “caught stoned” on a substance referred to as “Mkpuru Mmiri,” a slang term often associated with crystal meth in Nigeria.
Allegedly, Natasha’s mother caught 2Baba and her daughter high on Mkpuru Mmiri and arranged for them to be taken into rehab,” the blogger wrote.
The report has stirred widespread conversation online, especially as it follows closely on the heels of 2Baba’s recent split from longtime wife and actress, Annie Macaulay. While the reasons for the high-profile separation remain undisclosed, the singer’s sudden relationship with Natasha has continued to draw public scrutiny.
