
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Abuja on the evening of Monday, April 21, 2025, concluding an 18-day visit to Europe.
His aircraft landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at approximately 9:50 p.m.
He was received by senior government officials, including Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila.
The trip encompassed private visits to France and the United Kingdom. While the presidency did not release an official itinerary, the nature of the engagements abroad has been a subject of public interest.
Prior to his return, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced via his official X handle that President Tinubu would be returning home on Monday, effectively ending speculation over his extended stay abroad.
