Popular Nigerian activist and social media influencer, Verydarkman, has shared his disappointment after discovering that his genotype is AS, a revelation that has shattered his hopes of marrying any of his three love interests.
The outspoken content creator disclosed the news in a recent video, explaining that he had always believed he was AA until a recent test proved otherwise.
According to him, the discovery came as a shock and has complicated his romantic prospects, as all three of the women he was interested in also have the AS genotype.
They just told me my genotype and my blood group now…I’ve always thought that I was AA. When they told me, I asked some babes where I knew there was a possibility… the first one said AS, the second and third also said AS,” he lamented.
Verydarkman used the moment to encourage young people to confirm their genotype early, stressing the importance of avoiding heartbreak and the risk of bringing children into the world who could suffer from sickle cell disease.
One user, @fasahmeta_x, commented, “Sad, he should look for a girl with AA genotype. Sickle cell anemia is no joke.”
