Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has given a strict warning to the U.S. President Donald Trump, urging him not to escalate tensions between Israel and Iran into a global war.

In a strongly-worded statement, Fani-Kayode condemned Trump’s recent rhetoric, accusing him of being influenced by Israeli interests and neoconservative hawks in Washington.

The warning comes amid heightened conflict in the Middle East, following a wave of Israeli airstrikes and Iran’s retaliatory missile and drone attacks.

“You are a disaster. You have betrayed your mission and calling. You are not a true believer but a fake. True believers do not support mass murder, genocide or oppression of the weak,” Fani-Kayode wrote.

The former minister cautioned against aggressive military action, warning that targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader or deploying U.S. troops could ignite a catastrophic global conflict.

“Kill the Supreme Leader of Iran if you dare and after that, if it pleases you, send in your Marines to occupy his country. It will signal the beginning of the end of the American empire,” he said.

Once an admirer of Trump, Fani-Kayode expressed disappointment, describing Trump’s current posture as arrogant and dangerous.

“All I see in you is vanity and an Icarus-like hubris which will lead to your nemesis. For once, let Israel fight her own battles,” he added.

Fani-Kayode, a consistent critic of Israel’s military operations in Gaza, has repeatedly condemned what he views as war crimes disguised as self-defense. He has accused the Israeli government of ethnic cleansing, highlighting the civilian toll — including women and children — from indiscriminate bombings and forced displacements.

He also called out Western powers for enabling what he described as a “brutal occupation,” urging the international community to hold Israel accountable under international humanitarian law.

FFK’s comments arrive at a time of deepening regional crisis. Israel’s recent attacks on Iranian military and nuclear targets were met with a barrage of Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, some of which breached Israeli defenses and caused casualties.

As the situation escalates, global efforts at de-escalation have faltered. Trump’s call for intensified pressure on Iran has only amplified international concerns.

Meanwhile, observers worldwide are urging restraint and a return to diplomacy to prevent a full-scale regional war.
