President Donald Trump has called for peace shortly after ordering a major airstrike on Iran’s top three nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Announcing the assault via social media, Trump described the mission as a military success and praised American forces for their execution.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran’s airspace. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is no other military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Trump posted.

As of press time, Iranian authorities had not officially responded to the strike. However, Iranian state media reported that the targeted nuclear sites had been evacuated ahead of the attacks, suggesting foreknowledge or anticipation of the strikes.

The operation shocked many observers, particularly after Trump had recently extended a two-week negotiation window to Tehran, raising hopes for a diplomatic resolution rather than military confrontation.
